Next Generation Ministries
Last year Acclaim Productions had the opportunity to go to Guatemala and
Honduras to work with orphans and document a medical mission teams
efforts to bring health care and God's love to those desperately needing it.
This year we have had the chance to follow Paul and Pam Hunter as they
minister to people in the country of Uganda on the continent of Africa. My
Son Quaid and I were there the first 18 days of March with our cameras
capturing all the different ministries that Next Generation Ministries is
composed of. We filmed a pastor and his school that reaches out with the
love of Jesus to a predominantly Muslim community. We spent time with
widows who have come together to start a bakery to supplement their
income. We shot a music video that can be seen at the bottom of this page
of a pastor's wife who is a contemporary Christian music artist in Africa.
God blessed us to be able to bring hundreds of pounds of children's
books, crayons, school supplies and sports equipment to school children
donated by local school children.
My wife Syd and daughter Jayde along with her friend Savanah came for
two weeks after Quaid and I left. They spent some of their time working
with orphans who's parents have died from the AIDS epidemic that has
spread across Africa. Syd was able to teach the widows at the bakery how
to make cinnamon rolls. They also spent time showing Christ's love to the
school children.
We at Acclaim Productions would like to thank all of you who gave so that
we can make this trip a great success! Our ministry goal at Acclaim
Productions is to be able to once a year donate our time and efforts to
follow missionary's in the field with our cameras and document what they
do so the church body back home can get a first hand glimpse into how
God is using their material and financial support. Thank you for financially
blessing us to make that possible.
